On September 25, 2015 Director General of the National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserve Mr. Lubomyr Mykhailyna held a meeting with Director of "Keshikchidag", State Historical and Cultural Preserve of Azerbaijan, Mr. Musa Mursaguliev. Present at the meeting there was also chief research associate of the "Keshikchidag" Preserve, candidate of historical sciences, Mr. Younis Nasibov.

During the meeting the parties discussed possible forms of cooperation between the two institutions. They also marked their readiness to fully support the initiatives of both states aimed at implementing joint cultural, scientific and educational projects as well as optimizing the exchange of the research results for them to be further published in NKPHKP and "Keshikchidag" scientific editions.

Furthermore, Mr. Musa Mursaguliev expressed his desire to sign a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the two Preserves.

In turn, Mr. Lubomyr Myhaylyna instructed the relevant structural units of Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra Preserve to transfer the draft of the mentioned Memorandum to be considered by the Azerbaijanian experts.

At the end of the meeting the sides expressed their satisfaction with the negotiations and agreed on continuing the work on deepening and developing the Ukrainian-Azerbaijani cooperation in the field of culture and science within the scope of their competence.
