Виїзне секційне засідання Чотирнадцятої Міжнародної наукової конференції «Церква – наука – суспільство: питання взаємодії» (м.Остер)

В заключний день Чотирнадцятої Міжнародної наукової конференції “Церква-наука-суспільство: питання взаємодії”, 3 червня, 2016 р., у м. Остер, Чернігівська область відбувся виїзний круглий стіл “Археологічні дослідження та реставрація архітектурних пам’яток києво-руської доби”. Засідання круглого столу розпочалося о 1000 в приміщенні Остерського краєзнавчого музею під головуванням доктора історичних наук, професора, члена-кореспондента НАН України, завідувача відділу давньоруської та середньовічної археології Інституту археології НАН України О. П. Моці, кандидата історичних наук, професора, директора Навчально-наукового інституту історії, етнології та правознавства ім. О. М. Лазаревського Чернігівського національного педагогічного університету ім. Т. Г. Шевченка О. Б. Коваленка, директора Остерського краєзнавчого музею  А. П. Мисливця та відповідального секретаря Оргкомітету конференції К. К. Крайнього.

Програма міжнародної науково-практичної конференції "Музеї та реставрація у контексті збереження культурної спадщини: актуальні виклики сучасності"

9–10 червня 2016 року у Національному Києво-Печерському історико-культурному заповіднику відбудеться Міжнародна науково-практична конференція «Музеї та реставрація у контексті збереження культурної спадщини: актуальні виклики сучасності». Куратор проекту – Світлана Гага-Шереметьєва. Метою проведення конференції є здійснення комплексного наукового розгляду сучасного стану збереження культурної спадщини в музейних і приватних колекціях, забезпечення реставрації пам’яток та дослідження процесу розвитку реставрації у контексті музеєзнавства. 

XIV International Scientific Conference “Church – Science – Society: Interaction Issues” Began Its Work

The XIV International Scientific Conference “Church – Science – Society: Interaction Issues” opened on May 25, 2016. The conference is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserve. The welcome speech was given by the Deputy General Director of the National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Museum for Scientific Work, S. Pyvovarov, the Preserve History and Archaeology Research Head K. Krainii, representative of the Kyiv Theological Academy and Seminary – the archpriest professor S. Yushchyk, and the Director of the Kyiv Centre of Archaeology at the Institute of Archaeology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, M. Sahaidak.

The National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserve Joined The All-Ukrainian Flashmob – Vyshyvanka Day

This holiday promotes Ukrainian customs and ancient traditions, including traditional clothing, among young people and all the citizens. An embroidered shirt is a genetic code of strength, prosperity, beauty and charms, and a symbol of belonging to the blood and the nation, which unites the Ukrainians regardless of the language they speak, religion or political beliefs. On the Vyshyvanka Day people always smile and exude joy. Today, the employees of the  National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserve have participated in the All-Ukrainian Flashmob and have come to work in traditional Ukrainian embroidered clothes – shirts and dresses decorated with Ukrainian embroidery, to mark the unity of society that is ready to develop and defend the country, history and traditions. At 2.00 pm everyone gathered together at the Cathedral Square to make a group photo.

“In UNESCO Treasury. Krakow Saltworks Museum Wieliczka” Art Photo Exhibition Opened Its Doors

The solemn opening of the “In UNESCO Treasury. Krakow Saltworks Museum Wieliczka” art photo exhibition was held on May 17, 2016. The presentation of the exposition was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Embassy of Poland in Ukraine, Polish Institute in Kyiv and the Polish Diaspora. The welcome speech was given by the Ambassador-At-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Serhii Reva, Historical and Cultural Preserves Development Head at the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine Bohdan Motsia, the Director of the Krakow Saltworks Museum Wieliczka Jan Godlovsky, the Director of the Polish Institute in Kyiv Eva Figel and the Head of the Kyiv-based Zhoda National Cultural Association of Polish people Ms Viktoriia Radik, General Director of the National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserve Liubomyr Mykhailyna.

The theme of this year's International Museum Day is “Museums and Cultural Landscapes”, which once again draws attention to the fact that museums can be authors of new research in the field of cultural heritage and active institutions in the protection and conservation of cultural values both inside and outside their walls. In these difficult times for our country, Ukrainian museum workers, more than ever, have to unite their efforts to preserve national cultural heritage and cultural landscapes, because cultural landscape is a human space, a complicated co-cultural system, a cultural identifier of communities live here by determining their special features, specific nature and identity.

Petro Kurinnyi (1894-1972) – historian, archaeologist, ethnographer and museum worker. In 1924-1926 he was director of the Museum of Worship and Life at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra (Lavra Museum Worship and Life) and the State Historical and Cultural Preserve “All-Ukrainian Museum Town”, which was created on its foundation (1926-1933).

Fedor Schmitt (1877-1937) – Byzantine scholar, expert of Old Russian art culture, art theory and history, as well as museum worker, academic of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, organizer and director of the Museum of Worship and Life at the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra (1923-1924).
