Here it is! The staff of the National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserve expresses our congratulations on the beginning of perhaps the most anticipated season – spring! We wish you to experience this time of year in all its glory, be happy and cheerful!
On February 19, 2016 National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserve received a Lithuanian delegation headed by Mr. Juozas Olekas, Minister of Defence of Lithuania, and Mr. Marius Yanukonis, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lithuania to Ukraine.
National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Reserve joins the commemoration of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, who tragically died in February 2014, defending the ideals of democracy, standing up for human rights and freedoms and the European future of Ukraine.
On 29 February the National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserve started cooperation with the Institute of Teacher Education and Adult Education of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine.
January of 2016 appeared to be rich in snow. This Saturday, which was a working day, the Preserve greeted officials and visitors with a white snow carpet. To make visiting the Preserve and working in it comfortable and pleasant, the territory was put in order with the help of special equipment.
The works displayed at the exhibition include those depicting Christmas and religious subjects and masterfully crafted images of saints.
On January 5, 2016 a cultural and artistic event “From Nicholas to Christmas” was held within the Residence of Saint Nicholas in the Cathedral of the Dormition Bell Tower in the National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserve.
