On the invitation of the Director General Lyubomyr Mykhaylyna and the Head of the Research Division of Restoration and Conservation of Movable Monuments Svitlana Gaga-Sheremetieva, on November 25, 2015 Dr. Francesco Peron, the Technical Director of the restoration company Ediltecnica Global Service, and Mr. Paul Cioconea, the Director of CTS Group, which is engaged in production and supply of materials and equipment for the preservation of cultural monuments and works of art, visited the restoration workshop of the National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserve.
The second day of the Scientific and Technical Seminar “The Preservation and Restoration of the Historical Monuments: from Monumental Paintings to Historic Buildings” was held on November 24, 2015 in the National Conservation Area “Saint Sophia of Kyiv”.
On November 23, 2015 in the framework of the Ukrainian-Italian Scientific and Technical Seminar on the Preservation and Restoration of the Historical Monuments: from Monumental Paintings to Historic Buildings the delegation of Italian restorers led by the organizers of the seminar represented by the Director of the Italian Trade Agency Alessandro Gerbino, visited the National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserve. The experts in restoration and conservation works, architects, directors of construction companies were presented among the members of the delegation.
On September 29, 2015 scientific and practical conference "Museum Pedagogy - Challenges, Present Day and Perspectives" opened at the National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserve.
The sides have discussed the prospects of the implementation of the Ukrainian-Greek youth project proposed by the General Director of NKPHCP as one of the areas of cooperation of the Preserve with the Geo Routes Cultural Institute of Greece.
During the meeting the parties discussed possible forms of cooperation between the two institutions.
