The National Kyiv Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserve held the VIII Youth Conference “Let’s Explore Kyiv Pechersk Lavra Together” on April 29, 2016. The conference was organized by the Kyiv National Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserve and Kyiv Small Academy of Sciences Students.

The young researchers presented their findings and discussed pressing issues of history and culture in Ukraine. A dozen reports were heard. During the conference the participants discussed various aspects of the history of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra and Preserve – the lives of Saints, the unique cave systems, printing and painting masterpieces, and traditions of pedagogical excellence.

Following the conference, the participants were given a tour around the Preserve.
