The collection of the Preserve constantly opens for you, dear friends, its inexhaustible sources for studying the history of our country. Among them - photo portraits of the late 19th - early 20th century of the virtual project #MuseumFromHome Memories of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.

In the presented photos we can see mostly ordinary people, whose names history has not left us.

Look at their faces, imagine yourselves as their contemporaries, fantasize about what they thought, dreamed and how their destinies turned out. After all, these people had to go through the great upheavals that befell our country in the early 20th century. It is possible that some of the visitors will recognize their grandparents in these photos or will be able to recognize the portraits of those personalities who have left a significant mark in national history.
