Dear friends!
We are glad to present a new release of “Memories of Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra” photo project to you.
This time it will be devoted to a particular day in the life of the National Preserve “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra”. On September 29, 2021, it marked its 95th anniversary, when the territory of Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra was recognized as the State Historical and Cultural Preserve, and “All-Ukrainian Museum Town” was formed. On this occasion, we decided to make this release special and include rare photographs of the late 1920s and early 1930s to it. These are digital prints from glass photonegative plates that belong to the collection of National Preserve “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra”. All photos are published for the first time.
