Preservation of the Ukrainian Museum Fund exhibits during wartime
The National Preserve “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra” has started cooperation with the National Committee of the Blue Shield of Great Britain, the University of the West England and the Association of Art and Heritage Consultants “Exhibition Team” with a project aimed at enhancing the methodology of the digital inventory of the movable and immovable monuments of the Preserve, strengthening the technical base, as well as providing training programs for the Preserve staff to create 3D modeling of the most valuable monuments in order to preserve them.
On May 18, the first online consultation on these issues took place with the participation of the representatives of the Preserve:
• Kateryna Yegorova (Head of the Division of International Cooperation)
• Daryna Nedzelska (specialist of the Division of International Cooperation)
• Iryna Cherevko (Head of the sector of the monitoring of immovable monuments)
• Valentyna Kachan (Head of the sector of the collection inventory)
• Larysa Beh (сustodian of the Preserve fund collection)
and Maria Blyzinsky, Heritage Consultant, from UK side.
