Congratulations On International Museum Day By Liubomyr Mykhailyna, General Director Of The National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserve

Dear Colleagues!
Please accept my sincerest congratulations on your professional holiday – International Museum Day!
The theme of this year's International Museum Day is “Museums and Cultural Landscapes”, which once again draws attention to the fact that museums can be authors of new research in the field of cultural heritage and active institutions in the protection and conservation of cultural values both inside and outside their walls. In these difficult times for our country, Ukrainian museum workers, more than ever, have to unite their efforts to preserve national cultural heritage and cultural landscapes, because cultural landscape is a human space, a complicated co-cultural system, a cultural identifier of communities live here by determining their special features, specific nature and identity.
Ukraine possesses priceless museum collections – archaeological, historical, and artistic ones. This is a national treasure, which should be available to everybody. And it is museum workers who open this wealth to people every single day.
I am convinced that your high professionalism, dedication and devotion will further promote spiritual development and raise the educational level of our citizens.
I would like to wish you undiminished energy, successful searches, interesting discoveries, well-being and prosperity, health and happiness, and unshakeable faith in the future.
Regards,
On behalf of the staff at
the National Kyiv-Pechersk
Historical and Cultural Preserve
General Director
