A delegation from the Republic of Turkey headed by Defence Minister Ismet Yılmaz visited the National Kyiv-Pechersk Historical and Cultural Preserve on May 13, 2016. At the Preserve the delegation was met by General Director L. P. Mykhailyna. The honoured guests were given a tour around the museum complex.

The delegation members visited the Trinity Gate Church, Assumption Cathedral, Refectory Church with the House and inspected the Great Lavra Bell Tower. At the exhibition of microminiatures by Ukrainian people's artist Mykola Siadrystyi, delegation members had the chance to see the world’s smallest book, the pages of which are stitched with ordinary cobwebs, as well as a chess board with chess pieces placed on the tip of a needle as well as other microminiatures.
