Working visit of the representative of the National Preserve “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra” to the Italian Republic in the framework of the European Union House of Europe Program

In the framework of the European Union's House of Europe grant program Daryna Nedzelska, a specialist of the Division for International Cooperation implemented the international professional mobility that included the working visit to the cities of Padua, Venice, Vicenza and Verona in the Veneto region of the Italian Republic from August 3 to 7, 2021. The host party from the Italian side was the partner of the Preserve - the Venetian cluster.

Five World Heritage Sites, working meetings with representatives of the museum and restoration sectors, meeting with the vice rector of the University of Padua, one of the oldest higher education institutions in Europe and Italy, acquaintance with the experience of implementing the Venice Cluster projects at the European and international level, as well as brainstorming in search of new ideas for cooperation - such was the five days varied agenda.

International mobility grants provide an excellent opportunity to expand borders and prospects, establish contacts with foreign partners, cooperate on joint international projects, promote the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra National Preserve not only as a World Heritage Site, but also as a reliable and open partner at the European level.

*Venetian Cluster coordinates and supports multidisciplinary public-private partnerships (PPP), enterprises, professionals, associations, public and private bodies, research institutes and all subjects interested in carrying out and promoting innovation projects, technological transfer and actions for the development of the Italian and international productive supply chain for the conservation, the restoration and the valorisation of the Cultural and Environmental Heritage in Italy and abroad.
