Laundry at the Lavra’s Inn. Did you know that Kyiv-Pechersk monastery had its own laundry? Yes, it was part of the Lavra’s inn and its maintenance costed 5,000 rubles, as of 1880.
Engravings with the plans of Lavra Caves. Do you know anything about the engravings with the plans of Lavra Caves? They were created at the end of the 18th century and there were two of them. The first was made in 1780 (ill. 1), the second – in 1784 (ill. 2).
